Our Thoughts
Would you call this a hot hatch? I’m not sure, but Nissan have definitely made it more appealing to the young people. It’s certainly not the same car your nan would now drive. Long gone is the cutesy bubbly car and in its place Nissan have completely revamped the design, giving it a more modern appearance with a swanky new interior. This Micra is not what the old one was, which in my opinion, is not a bad thing because if you’re going to give a car a overall, you have got to assume that your now potential buyers couldn’t care less about how the Micra of days gone by looked, so you’ve more creative freedom to do whatever you want really.
But since the 80s, the Micra has been one of those go-to-cars for people wishing to start their driving life. And I was of the same mind set too, thinking to myself, “that doesn’t look like a Micra. It’s too big for a start!” So in order to appeal to the most devoted of lovers, the car is also available in a more ordinary style with less of the dual tone and less tinted windows.

In a saturated market of hatchbacks, why should you purchase this particular Micra over something similar like the Clio? It comes down to what you want to be seen in and reliability. This oozes charisma, with orange stripes on the alloys and side skirts, against the black, it makes it pop. With the comfort of mind, knowing that you bought a reliable car in a Nissan should be the reason above all why you should probably purchase this over its competitors. And who wouldn’t want to be seen in something that looks as good as this?
