HUNYO is the brain-child of unemployed graphic designer and father of one, Michael. Frustrated with not being able to gain employment in graphic design he decided to stop wallowing and do something with his abilities and develop a lifestyle website aimed at the fathers of the world. With plenty out there for the mums, there didn’t really seem to be much for the male parent. And those that were available their content and design is what let them down. So Michael decided to fill that niche. And HUNYO? Well the word is Filipino for the month of June, the month that Michael entered fatherhood for the first time! Michael’s partner hails from the Philippine Islands so the name HUNYO felt very fitting.
